Sexual harassment is discrimination based on sex and occurs in many forms and under many different circumstances. Our federal government and most states have passed laws that prohibit sexual harassment in the workplace.

Employers are required to maintain a harassment-free workplace for its employees at all times. The law dictates that managers and supervisors must be aware of their responsibilities and accountability for failure to prevent and correct sexual harassment in the workplace. Responsibilities include learning to recognize sexual harassment and the appropriate corrective actions to take in the event of an occurrence.

Implementing sexual harassment prevention training measures is the best tool to eliminate sexual harassment.

With the goal of ensuring workplaces free of sexual harassment, the State of California has specific requirements for manager notification, posting and training, our interactive course helps you meet these requirements.

Our California programs are available in three versions:

  • Employee – Helps employees recognize what kind of behavior is not appropriate in the workplace and how each individual can contribute to an atmosphere that is better for everyone.
  • Manager – Shows managers how to prevent harassment in their workgroups and the need to respond promptly and appropriately if a problem does occur.
  • California Manager – Can be used as a component of a two-hour class led by a qualified trainer to meet the standards of California AB 1825 and AB 2053.
